Newborn sessions are intentionally longer than family sessions to ensure they feel as relaxed as possible. Time for feeds, naps and cups of tea - and this newborn at home photoshoot was just that.

Next to a lit fire we played and read books while the baby finished her nap, and then gently took our time to capture some family groups and newborn and sibling moments.

If mum’s would like I am always honoured to capture feeding too and will do so in whatever way makes you feel most comfortable. However a mother feeds her baby, those precious moments when they look up at you are something really special to remember.

I am the photographer for your newborn photoshoot if you want to capture your baby at home, with no props, backdrops or staged moments. This stage of life is chaotic and sleep deprived but beautiful because of that, and so I aim to capture it in all its authentic glory. You don’t need a perfectly tidy home (mine certainty isnt!) , you don’t need to dress up - just be yourself, enjoy time with your family and I’ll help you remember this time through authentic, beautiful images.
