Hi, I’m Katie!

First and foremost I am a Mum of two little ones, and so I am also on this rollercoaster of parenthood just like you. I therefore get how important it is to document these years and feature in the photos yourself!

I have been taking photos for over 10 years and have always loved pictures that are less traditional - the in-between moments, the shot that shows real emotion, or highlights a child’s character just perfectly.

In a prior life I was an events manager for national children’s charities, so my business experience has taught me that when choosing to work with a professional photographer it is just as much about the experience you have as a family when we are working together.

I am passionate about ensuring from first booking to prints on the walls that your family photoshoot experience is efficient, relaxed, fun and easy.

A  bit more about me

As a person I am friendly, easy going, love a chat and care deeply. I can’t function without two coffees before I leave the house, I love interior design and have spent the last 6 years renovating two ugly houses into much prettier ones! My family live in South Devon and so being by the sea, with fish & chips and a honeycomb ice cream is pure happiness to me.

I grew up in Tonbridge so I know the Kent towns and villages and best photography spots well. I moved to London with friends after doing a Drama degree at University and spent 12 fun filled years in Clapham, Brixton and Crystal Palace.

Being back in the countryside of Kent is perfect for us as a family now and meeting and connecting with wonderful people every week is the new normal for me, and I can’t wait to get to know you and your family.

As well as photographing families, I also work with many business owners and brands each year to bring their story to life through photography. I work with a range of creative businesses including interior design, food & hospitality, luxury lifestyle and female founded businesses. I collaborate with clients across Kent, London, Surrey and Sussex and have a similar natural style and professional approach to my family work.
