I love capturing natural happy moments of a family together. No forced smiles, no awkward poses, just relaxed fun captured outdoors in your home, garden or a place that’s special to you.

Whole family shots with everyone smiling are on everyone’s wish list but real family life is a bit “messier” and as a Kent family photographer I find joy in capturing some of the more ordinary things and highlighting your childrens unique personalities.

FAQs

  • A typical family photoshoot would be in your home or a location outside that works well for you and your family. We would spend about 1.5-2 hours together and take photos in a mix of spaces to ensure a variety of backgrounds and to help me capture the whole family and individual moments of each child too. If you don’t have a preferred location in mind then I will recommend a quiet outdoor space for us to meet.

    I have a natural documentary style so although I will guide you and your family to ensure we get the images you will treasure, my favourite shoots are when a family can play and have fun together while I can capture that genuine emotion.

    I specialise in:

    • Family photography in your home / garden

    • Newborn and baby

    • Maternity / Bump Photography

    • Family events and special occasions, including Christenings and parties

  • I like to keep things simple- there are enough decisions in life and every photographer structures things a little bit differently so I appreciate it can be confusing!

    Family shoots start at £275, which you will get:

    • 30 minute consultation call for us to discuss the process and logistics and for me to get to know some details about your family.

    • Pre-shoot guidance document, including a styling guide and what to expect.

    • Approx. 1.5 hour photoshoot time.

    • Processing and editing of images in a mix of colour and black and white, as I see fit.

    • 20 digital images included

    • Travel within 10 miles of my home in Chiddingstone, Kent*

    Photo Packages

    I will deliver 40+ edited images in a bespoke online gallery within 15 working days. You can then select your favourite images from the gallery, and have the option to buy additional images or upgrade to the full gallery.

    You will also be able to order additional high quality wall art and prints from a leading UK supplier direct from the online gallery, charged per item. Printing will be giclee printing on fine art paper. To see the pricing list in advance please contact me.

    *Additional travel time is chargeable. VAT is not applicable.

    Please note that newborn photography sessions are longer to allow for feeds and changes and keep things relaxed, and start at £350- please contact me to discuss.

  • Capturing you and your bump is such a special and intimate thing to do and I have a bespoke package for these sessions which includes:

    • Pre shoot consultation and shared mood board.

    • Location support if required - shoots will all be outdoors or in your home / garden.

    • Approx. 1 hour shoot

    • Partners, dogs, other children welcome.*

    • 15 digital images included - which you will select from a wider gallery.

    • Option to upgrade to additional images and prints if you wish - no obligation!

  • Yes I have lots of experience photographing special family events and having worked in events for 15 years in a previous career, I know how much time and effort goes into these special days and therefore how crucial it is for a photographer to capture all the right moments.

    If you have a family event, birthday or christening coming up then please get in touch to enquire availability and discuss the specifics! I will build a bespoke quote for your needs- pricing starts at £200.

  • Choosing a photographer is such a personal decision as you are letting me into your family life for a short period. If you choose to work with me I will never take this privilege for granted and will ensure the process is efficient, fun and relaxed from first contact to prints on the walls.

    Having two little ones of my own I fully relate that kids don’t always play ball when we want them to. They might refuse to wear that nice outfit you picked out or not smile at the camera and that’s fine… I get it 100% as I have been there, and I will ensure regardless of moods or outfits, you will come out of our time together with a set of beautiful, unique images.

  • Whenever I tell someone that I am a family photographer, they say ‘Oh we would love some family photos, but we don’t like the idea of posing’, and neither do I really!

    Being in front of a camera doesn’t happen every day, so there will always be some members of the family who are less keen. However meeting new people and putting them at ease is something I pride myself on and I have lots of tricks up my sleeve to make the photoshoot fun and relaxed for the whole family.

    I always recommend holding a photoshoot at a good time around naps and eating schedules and ensuring little ones have had a snack before we get going. As a mum of two myself I can promise you our time together will be flexible, relaxed and good fun.   • If you are interested in booking a session please email or message me to enquire about date availability. The booking process will be:

    1. Contact me to discuss dates and ask any questions. I am always open to chat, even if you aren’t sure yet.

    2. When you are ready to proceed then we lock in a session location, date and time.

    3. You will receive an agreement with all the specifics and a pre-shoot information document, including advice on what to wear.

    4. We will have a pre-shoot call for me to get to know you and your family and discuss ideas and so I can answer your questions.

    5. I will message you the day before your family / maternity photoshoot to confirm things and touch base. If there is very bad weather and we planned an outdoor shoot and we need to postpone we will agree an alternate date.

    6. Your photoshoot occurs and we have a fun filled few hours together.

    7. You will received a beautiful bespoke gallery of all your edited photos within 15 working days of the photoshoot.

    8. You can then select your favourite images, or upgrade to the full gallery.

    9. Lastly, you can order prints or wall art to ensure your family pictures don’t just live hidden on your phone forever!
